Jacobs STEAM Maths Enrichment Programme
Jacobs, a leading engineering consultancy, came into school to work with Year 9 students on a road-building project.
Giving them experience in problem solving, costing, communication and teamwork, the task involved meeting certain criteria to map a new road and then cost up their best route.
All students thoroughly enjoyed this experience and were competitive in trying to get the lowest cost!
