Prize for Resilience Nominations Open!
Nominations for the Prize for Resilience are now open!
The Prize for Resilience celebrates students who demonstrate their strength of character by using genuine resilience to overcome challenges and some determination to succeed.
The award is based on nominations and any current Churchill student is eligible to be nominated. Nominations can be made by students, staff, parents, family and friends.
Entry Criteria
To nominate a student, please write a brief (50 word max) citation that explains how they have shown two or more of the below criteria and why they should be awarded this prize.
- Determination to face challenges
- Perseverance to fulfil their potential
- Generous and thoughtful to others
- Dependable in character

The Prize for Resilience was donated to the Academy by former Headteacher Dr Wratten, and the winner will be chosen by the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team. The winner will be presented with the award during the Presentation Evening on Wednesday 11th September 2024.
