Sports Day 2024 Results!

Sports Day 2024 was a brilliant success as the sun shone for our students to participate in a variety of athletic events. The energy was high, and the atmosphere was filled with the sounds of cheers, laughter, and fantastic music, creating a marvellous way to see out the academic year!

The events kicked off with us seeing track races, relay races with teams showcasing their speed, endurance and co-ordination. The high jump, 100m and 800m competitions saw impressive performances, with students pushing their limits and soaring to new heights, breaking Academy records!

One highlight of the day was undoubtedly the tug of war, a fierce set of competitions that had everyone on the edge of their seats. After hard-fought battles, it was Hanover House that emerged victorious, their strength and determination earning them the win.

Throughout the day, our wonderful Sixth Form students provided much needed ice creams and drinks to us all, raising money for their Year 13 Ball. The field was sparkling as students decorated themselves in their house colours with glitter galore!

As the day drew to a close, it was time to announce the overall winners of the House Cup. Once again, Hanover House triumphed, taking home the coveted trophy in recognition of their outstanding performances across all events.

Congratulations to Hanover House for their clean sweep of the trophies and to all students for making this Sports Day one to remember!
