Academy Sports Round Up!

We had another successful week in sports this week! 

Our girls' Netball teams played against Hans Price Academy and came away with a win! The Year 8 team won with an impressive 11-2 final score. Congratulations to Melissa who was awarded Player of the Match. Our Year 9 team also gave it their all to secure them a final score of 18-1. Well done to Erin, who took home Player of the Match. 

In Rugby, our Year 9 boys had an away match with Kings of Wessex School, however being on foreign ground didn’t stop them and they won 29-27! 

Year 10 had a great result in the Somerset Rugby Cup, beating Backwell 57-7, after a tight first half and the scores locked at 10-7, Churchill ran in 7 tries in the second half!
