Target Setting

During the Autumn of Year 10, students are engaged in setting target grades for their GCSE, or equivalent, courses.

We use a national database of information about similar students (called Fisher Family Trust, or FFT) as a starting point for discussions about target grades. This video will help you to make sense of the information from that database and will support you to discuss with your child the target grades they would like to aim for in each subject they are studying. Your child will have a 1-1 conversation with each of their subject teachers during which a target grade for the subject will be agreed on.
