Sixth Form Girls Netball Team Face Narrow Defeat Against Clevedon

This week, Churchill Sixth Form’s netball team played an intense away game against Clevedon in what turned out to be a closely fought contest. 

The Academy held the lead through the first two quarters in a closely contested match, but Clevedon mounted a determined comeback in the final quarter, ultimately securing a 15-11 victory.

Despite the result, our players put up a strong fight throughout the match. 

The standout performance came from Eva, who was named Player of the Match for her excellent play.

Academy Boys Win Against Somervale!

Our Year 8 Football team had the Somerset Cup in their sights this week. They went up against Somervale in an exciting match, and they came out on top. Taking the pitch by storm, the boys walked away with an 8-0 victory!

Year 10 boys also faced Somervale this week, with an equally 2-0 victory!
