Students tributes to Remembrance Day

On Monday, the Academy came together to honour the bravery and sacrifice of those who served and continue to serve in the armed forces.

As part of our Remembrance Day observance, we held a poignant two-minute silence. During this reflective moment, Doug—one of our talented Year 10 students and also a cadet—played The Last Post to students in the AD block.

Students in the cadets, Guides, or Scouts were encouraged to wear their uniforms for the day, with a sense of pride and respect for the occasion. Among them, Reuben, proudly dressed in his cadet uniform, dedicated his morning to selling poppies for The Poppy Appeal. He went from classroom to classroom, allowing everyone to contribute to this vital cause.

We are proud of our students for their respectful participation in this important day of remembrance.
