Watch Year 12 BTEC Exam Performances of Dixon and Daughters & Into the Woods

On Tuesday 10th December, at 5.30 pm, our Year 12 Performing Arts students will perform two pieces of theatre as part of their exam.

The first piece is in the Academy Hall and is ‘National Theatres, ‘Dixon and Daughters’.  

‘Mary has just been released from prison. She wants to come home and forget all about it but Briana has other ideas. Over a tumultuous two days, a family is forced to confront not just their past but themselves. Even if you refuse to hear the truth, the truth doesn’t go away.’

Age recommended 14+ and running time is approximately 45 minutes. 

Our second piece features our Musical Theatre specialists performing extracts from Into the Woods in the Drama Studio. Songs include ‘No One is Alone’, ‘Your Fault’, and ‘Giants in the Sky’. The running time for this piece is approximately 30 minutes.

There is no cost for the tickets but donations would be welcome.  There will be a 20-minute interval between these two wonderful performances where you can purchase drinks and snacks. Proceeds from the interval and donations will go towards our 2026 production ‘Legally Blonde: The Musical’.
