Take on the Silver DofE Challenge

We are inviting Year 10 students to take the next step in their Duke of Edinburgh's Award (DofE) journey by signing up for the Silver Award. Students are encouraged to seize this opportunity to enhance their skills, embark on new adventures and contribute to their communities.

Some of the key details you'll need to know:

• Registration Deadline: Students must pay the £28.50 registration fee by November 4th, 2024, via ParentPay.

• Practice Expedition: Scheduled to take place from 7th to 9th July 2025, this will serve as essential preparation for the assessed expedition.

• Assessed Expedition: Summer 2026 (for then Year 11 students), will mark the culmination of the students' expedition journey.

• Expedition Costs: The cost of the expedition is estimated to be £250.

By participating in the Silver DofE Award, students will have the opportunity to build teamwork, leadership, and resilience skills while enjoying the challenge of the great outdoors. This award is a step up from the Bronze level, offering more advanced activities and longer expeditions.
