Topics & Areas Covered:	Across the two years you will partake in the following units; Unit 1 – Investigating Practitioner’s Work. This unit allows students to develop analytical skills and contextual understanding of how practitioners communicate themes in their work. Unit 2 – Developing Skills and Techniques for Live Performance. Students will explore performance skills with a focus on developing skills and techniques within their specialism. Unit 3 – Group Performance Workshop. In this unit students will work collaboratively to create a performance in response to a given stimulus. Unit 27 – Musical Theatre Techniques. This unit gives students the opportunity to both produce and perform in a musical. They will explore key features of musical theatre whilst developing specialist skills and techniques.
Career Pathways:	The course opens up a variety of career options such as: Actor Singer Dancer Musical Theatre Educator Working within the Community
AS/A Level:	This course can only be studied as a two year qualification. It cannot be studied as a one year course.
